The Table Tennis Federation of India will organize the Pro-Tour, Indian Open from 29^th October to 2^nd November 2008. The Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI) has great pleasure to invite 24 International Umpires (IU) to officiate at the

INDIAN OPEN OF THE ITTF PRO-TOUR

INDORE-INDIA OCTOBER 29^TH TO  NOVEMBER 2^ND,2008

Applications have to be submitted to Mr. M.C. Chowhan, Table Tennis Federation of India by e-mail: ttfi@vsnl.com before 4^th August 2008. The attached nomination form has to be completed and submitted by the respective association.

An Advance Umpires Training Course (AUT) will be conducted on 28^th October 2008. 50% of the invited umpires shall be White Badge International Umpires (must have) at least Two Years of IU experience) who shall participate in this course. Participants of the AUT Course are required to pay US$ 40 to ITTF for the course (examination fee) and US$ 100 at Hotel for Hospitality (For 2 Nights) from Dinner of October 27^th to Lunch October 29^th 2008.

UMPIRE EVALUATIONS

During the tournament the URC will also conduct field of play evaluations for Umpires.

Due to the fact that 2008 the number of evaluation within Asia will be quite limited, it is recommended to nominate umpires according to following stages of priority:

PRIORITY 1: IU BLUE BADGE

                        PRIORITY 2: IU BLUE BADGE-CANDIDATE

PRIORITY 3: IU WHITE BADGE

The selection will be made before 4^th September 2008, therefore associations concerned will be informed immediately after the final decision was made in cooperation with ATTU/ITTF

To enable the participation of umpires as many associations as possible One or Two Umpires per Association will be invited.

All invited Umpires shall provide their own transportation (Air Fare) to Indore, the organizers will provide free Hospitality from Dinner October 29^th to Breakfast November 3^rd 2008. All invited IU will be paid daily allowance US$ 25 per day per head.
